STEEL CAGE PROCEESING
Description
Procedure: Steel Bar Removal, Cleaning and Position Adjustment, Wax Coating, Cage Suspension, Anti-Rust Material Dipping, Drying, Cage Insertion
In order to meet the reinforced concrete corrosion protection standards for steel mesh cages, we have implemented the following comprehensive corrosion protection process:
1.Size Adjustment: We start by adjusting the dimensions of the steel rods and the support frame to ensure they meet the required specifications.
2.Wax Coating: The assembly frame is then hoisted using a spreader, and the steel rods are dipped into an industrial wax bath. This process covers the surface of the steel rods with a protective layer of industrial wax.
3.Cage Suspension: The welded mesh cage is hung onto the wax-coated steel rods, securely attaching the cage to the assembly frame.
4.Anti-Rust Material Dipping: The assembly frame, with the mesh cage attached, is immersed in an anti-corrosion paint bath using a spreader. This step ensures complete anti-corrosion protection and guarantees that the anti-corrosion solution reaches every surface of the steel bars.
5.Drying: After the anti-corrosion treatment, the assembly frame with the cage is allowed to dry. This step is crucial to ensure that the anti-corrosion coating adheres properly to the steel bars.
6.Cage Insertion: Once the drying process is complete, the corrosion-protected steel mesh cage is ready for installation in the reinforced concrete structure.
Additionally, the industrial wax not only provides corrosion protection but also prevents the anti-corrosion solution from adhering to the steel rods, making it easier to clean. It’s worth noting that the industrial wax naturally melts during the resting process, ensuring a smooth and consistent protective coating on the steel bars.
